I decided to switch from my 30mm gun because it was ridiculously loud. Luckily, I had some nearly silent 40mm guns lying around. To get them working on my E3D V6, I designed a custom adapter using 3D printing technology. However, the adapters I found online were not compatible with my specific model. So, I took matters into my own hands and created one that fit perfectly. When it comes to cooling systems for ABS plastic, fans are notoriously ineffective. To solve this problem, I built an angler-style fan mount and reversed the fan's direction so it sucks in air instead of blowing it out.
