This is a mount I am working on to secure the E3Dv6 hotend onto my UM2 clone. To utilize this on an official UM2, the Z Height will require modification to prevent the build plate from crashing into the hot end during leveling. Although I have not tested this on an official UM2 yet, it has been successfully implemented on my clone, which boasts a larger build envelope and does not suffer from this issue. Hardware Required: Self-tapping screws for clamp: http://www.mcmaster.com/#99397a077/=y8g57e Bolts for body M3 × 0.5, 50mm length: http://www.mcmaster.com/#92095a475/=y8g6c0 Nuts for the bolts M3x0.5: http://www.mcmaster.com/#94150a325/=y8g73z A T6 Torx drive is necessary for tightening the clamp screws. 8/2/2015 - Adaptor added to allow use of 4mm bowden tube, which features threads for a 1/8" BSP PTC fitting.
