I detest loud 30 mm fans that are nearly impossible to locate in my local retailers. The results from a makeshift solution involving a 40mm to 30mm fan adapter were dismal; airflow was significantly diminished, making it a total nonstarter. So I came up with something better. This hotend mount allows me to simply attach the device directly to the printer without taking apart the extruder assembly. Mounting is quick and easy using just 2x M3 20 mm screws for the adapter itself and 4x M4 screws for the fan attachment.
