The original E3D hot ends (dual) have been my go-to choice for some time now. They're top quality but can sometimes cause warping or delamination, particularly when printing ABS, due to their use of fans. Switching to liquid cooling resolves this issue and also shortens the hot end slightly. If your extruder design permits, you can remove the 2.5 mm wide cut feature in the top part. My i3ext modification works well without it. For the top part of your E3D hot end, only purchase heat break, heat block, and nozzle from e3d-online.com. Obtain a water cooling sleeve from sites like eBay, intended for R/C use with 20 mm motors. Assemble following the instructions available on E3D's website.
