E3D ToolChanger - Toolhead LED Illumination
thingiverse
I built a small holder to secure an LED strip underneath the toolhead, placing the light exactly where I need it. This simple and easy-to-print part clicks snugly onto the spacers. The cable can be routed just like the endstop's cable. Two extra wires are all that's needed to reach the toolhead, connecting them to the F0 fan connector. I run the LED at 25% PWM to keep temperatures low. To do this, I use the following command: (M106 P0 S0 X0.25 B0 C"Light"). You can find the LED strip at this link: https://www.conrad.de/de/p/tru-components-tru-ledmo-14-24-ww-highpower-led-modul-eek-a-a-e-mit-loetanschluss-24-v-50-mm-warm-weiss-1582410.html
