Update: sadly it doesn't seem to work properly, since my fan sometimes still needs a little push to start spinning. =( This is an ugly remix with the fan 10° tilted and further away from the back of the motor to allow it to spin; being too close to the back of the motor prevented many fans (including mine) to work properly, if at all.
