E3D Tool Changer Adjustable Brush
thingiverse
This is a revised version of GregoryHolloway's Adjustable Cleaning Brush. I've modified it to utilize more readily available NEMA 17 motors, which feature an integrated T8 4 Start lead screw. The cheap brass nut that usually comes with these has been swapped out for a Prusa POM nut. The linear guide is sourced from PCB Linear (MR12-0150-1), and it boasts a polymer bearing design, eliminating the need for lubrication. You can order this component directly through PCB Linear's website via the link provided in the BOM. The brush arm has been left blank to facilitate easy modification with your preferred brush. Major redesign implemented on 07-28-2020 aimed at improving alignment of the lead screw and linear rail. Excessive warping of the print had caused tight spots at the ends of travel, compromising performance. To address this issue, I made the brush section removable, allowing for seamless changes to different brush designs. Updated versions uploaded on 07-10-2020 feature larger clearances for bolts and lead screws.
