E3D Titan V6 mount to Printrbot Simple Metal

This is my method for installing an E3D Titan extruder with E3D V6 hot end to my Printrbot Simple Metal. This approach enables optimal mounting for direct drive, allowing me to print with flexible filament as I plan. It works well but comes with a caveat - you need to raise your bed to about the same level as the printer body and print (using) the included Y axis endstop spacer, which must be mounted so it hits the Y endstop. I will take pictures explaining this. I didn't include any mounts for raising the bed since I bought a 1/4" piece of glass and placed washers between the bed and bed mounts for sufficient height. Others may prefer different approaches, such as using a heated bed? You also need to mount your bed sensor with nuts on both "inside" sides to raise it enough. I made the stepper mount with a hole to attach it to the Printrbot frame but didn't use it because it's mounted so tightly without it. Some of these designs are based on others and I apologize if I used their work without crediting them, but I modified them significantly in the past and can't remember where I got some of the STLs from. I will try to find and attribute their use within a few days. Printer Settings Printer Brand: Ultimaker Printer: Ultimaker 2 Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 35% but not really important if you're using 0.8mm first and last layers Notes: None of these prints are particularly difficult. I suggest printing with ABS as both will be close to some fairly hot stuff. You may need a raft when printing in ABS. Post-Printing Simple Stepper mount to the Titan drill hole or don't - it mounts so tightly it won't move. Also seen is the Y stop spacer next to the back of the bed level cord. Because this setup is much higher, you might need to mount your bed detector higher by placing nuts on both "inside" sides. Z-STOP Spacer (basically just a simple U clip). Seen at the back of the stepper motor (black ABS).
