E3D Titan Extruder for Sintron i3
thingiverse
My i3 is a bit of a beast when it comes to hybrids, sporting the X gantry straight from Sintron i3's playbook. Changes from GyroBot's design: Moved belt clamp features and belt pass-through so they're on the same level as my idler bearings and spindle. I beefed up the back of the carriage by 3mm, and chopped off 3mm from the fan to make it more efficient. Since I'm using 5x10x4 idler bearings on my X axis and a 20-tooth 2GT pinion, I adjusted the belt pass-through channel a bit to prevent rubbing issues. I pulled the fan mount holes all the way through and added hex nuts for extra security - although I didn't need them in the end, it's always good to be prepared. A central splitter in the fan duct was also added. The printer I was working with had trouble with bridging, but this modification made it a lot easier to print without relying on supports.
