E3D Titan Extruder Bracket - Wilson II
thingiverse
This is my Titan Extruder Bracket with Cable management bracket.\nUPDATE: I've made adjustments to provide easy access to the Adjuster Screw by accommodating a new Thumb Screw Adjuster.\nThe design dimensions remain identical to the original, except for this upgrade.\nAs I continue to use it, I prefer the orientation more and more. The adjuster screw is now located at the back, but on my Wilson II rack and pinion Z end stop setup, it's slightly harder to access.\nTo compensate, I've trimmed a alan key down to size, making it a bit tricky but still effective in reaching the screw.\nThe benefits of this design far outweigh any minor drawbacks. The ability to wind filament in and out using the large gear is a huge advantage. Cleaning the drive gear is also significantly easier compared to other designs, and overall access remains good.\nPlease note that these specifications are tailored specifically for the Wilson II X carriage paired with the Rack and Pinion Z end stop and a genuine E3D V6 hotend.\nIf you're using a generic hotend instead, this design should still work, but you might lose some Z height in the process. If you want to adapt this design to a non-Wilson II printer, I'd be happy to help with modifications based on your specific dimensions.\nThis will allow for clear access to the adjuster screw and potentially recover some lost Z Axis height.\nThe hole pitch for the X carriage is 23mm x 23mm.\nAs an added touch, I've painted my Titan adjuster nut red so it's easier to spot.\nTo print this bracket, you'll need:\n4 M4 nuts\n4 M4 bolts\n1 alan key cut down to 10mm in length.\nThere is also a spacer included for those without cable management systems.\nFor the rest of my Cable Management system, please visit http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1670768.\nPrint settings:\nPrinter brand: RepRap\nPrinter model: Geeetech Prusa I3 X\nRafting and supports: Not necessary\nResolution: 0.2mm\nInfill percentage: 50%
