Update 6/22/16: I identified a critical design flaw in the original build, which failed to activate the X axis limit switch during homing. To rectify this issue, I lengthened the bracket's right side to ensure it triggers the switch as intended. Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused by this oversight. This versatile bracket enables seamless mounting of an E3D Titan extruder on a Solidoodle printer. I also successfully integrated an E3D Lite 6 hot-end, utilizing the original extruder mounting screws but cutting them down to 15 mm in length for improved accessibility. By shifting the extruder, I ensured easy access to the mounting screws on either side of the Lite 6 heatsink. The bracket boasts a robust 4 mm thickness and allows attachment using a 12 mm long M3 screw at the lower right corner of the motor. I opted to retain the original motor for consistency. Noteworthy, I have yet to calibrate the extruder and hot-end combination; however, I will provide an update once this process is complete.
