E3D Titan Bracket for Vellemann K8200
thingiverse
This bracket is designed for mounting an E3D Titan extruder on a Velleman K8200 printer. My own printing experience led me to use 40% infill and 0.8mm shells in black PLA. Note that the bracket requires four screws, two from below and two at the back, for secure attachment. To make significant upgrades to my printer, I began with replacing the layer cooling fan entirely since it no longer fit properly after installing this bracket. Instead, I installed two extra 40mm fans on either side of the E3Dv6 hotend, which are connected to a fan holder that's typically used for the normal cooling fan but is now mounted directly onto the hotend heat-sink. Moving forward, I relocated the Z axis assembly approximately four centimeters towards the back of my printer. This modification only became feasible because I had previously replaced the original Z endstop assembly with an IR mini sensor board, which can accommodate this new configuration without any issues.
