E3D Titan Aero Mount For Alunar M508

This part is designed to attach an E3D Titan Aero extruder to an Alunar M508 (Prusa i3 clone) printer. It might fit other printers too. The spacing of your X carriage 8mm rods should be exactly 45mm center to center for this attachment to work on your printer. I also uploaded the Fusion 360 model file so you can edit it to suit your needs better. You will need these hardware parts: 1) SC8UU - QTY 3 (8mm linear bearing with "platform") 2) KW11-3Z - QTY 1 (limit switch) 3) M4 x 15mm screws - QTY 2 (belt attachment points) 4) M4 nuts - QTY 4 (belt attachment points) 5) M4 x 8mm (approx.) screws - QTY 12 (for attaching mount to bearings) 6) Small cable ties/zip ties - QTY 2 (don't be a slob) 7) E3D Titan Aero Extruder - QTY 1 * If you have an Alunar M508 (or similar) printer, you probably already have items 1-4. 9/26/17 The parts cooler in the picture is this thing: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2234811. The mount portion of Thing # 2234811 easily snapped in half to make it a "one sided" cooling fan. I also trimmed the duct as the creator of the thing describes. It's not ideal but it gets the job done. The Titan Aero kit came with the longer screw that I needed.
