Element 3D V2.2 offers a user-friendly preset for modeling, complete with all colors. The E3D file comes with a full materials setup, similar to the preview. In addition, an OBJ 2015 file is included. To use this preset effectively: Open After Effects CC 2014 or higher and create a new composition. Note that you will need Element 3D V2.2 to utilize this feature. Create a new Solid layer and add the Element effect by going to Effect > Video Copilot > Element. Click on Scene Setup inside the Element 3D scene setup. Then, click on IMPORT and select my .e3d preset for the model, followed by pressing Open. If you do not see the model, remember to right-click on the model name and select Replace Model, then choose the corresponding .obj model file in the models folder.
