Element 3D V2.2 offers a range of all-color models that are incredibly easy to use. Every E3D file comes with a full materials setup, just like you'd see in the preview. Plus, an OBJ 2015 file is included for good measure. To get started, open up After Effects CC 2014 (or any version higher than that) and create a brand new composition. One important thing to keep in mind: Element3D V2.2 is required to use this feature. Next, you'll need to add a Solid layer and apply the Element effect. You can find it under Effect > Video Copilot > Element. Once that's done, click on Scene Setup inside the Element3D scene setup menu. From there, choose the .e3d preset for your model and press Open. If you don't see the model right away, make sure to right-click on the model name and select Replace Model. After that, simply navigate to the respective models folder and select the .obj model file.
