I'm currently crafting a new X-Carriage using a 2020 V-Slot rail as the crossmember. To achieve this, I've been experimenting with various gantry plate designs that are compatible with the parts I have on hand or purchased. As a result, I've created this mount for the popular E3D hot end. It also includes mounting points for a 12MM diameter inductive probe for automatic bed leveling. The key to this design lies in the mounting points, which are specifically designed to align with the gantry plate sold by Openbuilds and other manufacturers. The screw spacing in the center of the mount is 10MM between holes, matching my self-designed gantry plate showcased on Thingiverse: http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2202323 The offsets between the probe and the center of the hot end are X-axis -30MM, Y-Axis -7MM. In simple terms, the probe is 30MM to the left of the hot end and 7MM forward. If you need this design or any other parts I've created printed, feel free to reach out. I specialize in printing strong HIPS and ABS parts for various applications. Just send me a message to get started.
