The E3D file is set up with a full materials package similar to the previews. To use it, open After Effects CC 2014 (or higher) and create a new composition. Make sure you have Element 3D V2.2 installed. Add an Element effect to a new Solid layer (Effect > Video Copilot > Element). Click Scene Setup and choose the Import option inside Element3D. Select your .e3d preset for the model, then open it. If the model doesn't appear, right-click its name and select 'Replace Model,' then browse to the .obj file in the appropriate folder.
