E3D Lowrider Mount for Rostock Max V2

E3D Lowrider Mount for Rostock Max V2

thingiverse

This is the initial release of my "Lowrider" E3D mount for the Rostock Max v2. Designed to be easy to print and lightweight, simply attach a set of SeeMeCNC ball joints and you're ready to go. Check out the replacement ball joints at http://www.seemecnc.com/collections/parts-accessories/products/replacement-ball-joints if you need them. I printed this mount using Taulman Alloy 910. Since Rostock Max owners already have a heated bed capable of reaching up to 240c, now is the perfect time to give this new E3D mount a try. The holes in the effector plate are precision-sized to fit snugly around a mini-DIN socket. Next, I'm going to experiment with using a mini-DIN connector and cable to allow for quick and easy hot end connections and disconnections.
