E3D Hot End Plate for Cobblebot

I needed a thicker plate to mount an E3D V6 hot end instead of the Hexagon hot end, and this is exactly what I created. The extra bosses with holes are designed for mounting a part fan or other accessories. My part fan is mounted off the left (square) boss, while I have a support for the hot end wiring on the right-hand one. The holes fit a 3 mm bolt perfectly and are made without threads - just cut some when you screw in the bolt. I recently uploaded a few pictures showing how to use these accessory bosses on top of the plate. Those pictures also showcase my new gantry design, which is not yet published, but the same accessory bosses can be used with it. I've also uploaded the FreeCAD files so you can adjust the boss hole size according to your needs. Printer Settings: Printer: Basic Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2 Infill: 50-70% Notes: I printed this in PLA, which works fine, but ABS would be a better choice. Just remember not to shut off the hotend cooling fan while it's still hot if you use PLA.
