E3D Holder for MK8 extruder
thingiverse
So I needed to upgrade my MK8 extruder with an E3D hot end, but first I had to incorporate an Autolevel feature and install a fan duct. To achieve this, I modified the mount from http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1812853 to make it easily attachable to an Aluminium Prusia I3 plate while also integrating an Autolevel support. I printed the modified mount in PETG, which turned out pretty well. Since I wanted to be able to print flexible materials, I adapted another STL design to guide the soft filament through the hotend tube. However, the hotend tube had to be hand-cut for proper assembly, leaving about a 2mm margin.
