E3D Hermera (Hermes) + Super Volcano Holder for MK3S
prusaprinters

This is the first version!!! Its in progress!

This are my current Holders for a Hermera and Super Volcano.
Target was to have minor changes in the Firmware. So pinda-sensor is at the same position and the hotend is 10mm closer to the front end of the magnetic bed. But still on the bed, just close to the edge. For that reason the extruder is rotated by 20degrees.

In the FW only the PID Values for the Hotend and the steps per mm have to be adapted. The PID Values can be done with the PID-Automatic in the FW.
For the Steps/mm i used pronterface. (like in this guide: https://e3d-online.dozuki.com/Guide/Prusa+i3+MK3+Firmware+Modifications/141?lang=en ) (i also used 780 steps/mm)

The cabeling is currently a bit fuzzy. I will rework this part to optimize it.

I use it with a 1.4mm Nozzle... its fast but rough...

Attention! The 80W of the Hotend are close to the limit of the einsy board!! Maybe its usefull to use the mosfet-kit from e3d.

https://e3d-online.com/e3d-hemera-175-kit

Hotend: 1.75mm and 24V
https://e3d-online.com/the-e3d-supervolcano

Print instructions

i printed the parts with prusa petg and 0.2mm layer height. 20% infill.
