E3d Hemera Mount for Precision Orion Piezo - Hypercube Evolution - HEVO

This is my first attempt at combining the best piezo system available with E3D's new Hemera Extruder-Hotend. It's still a work in progress, but for me it's working perfectly so far. Unfortunately, you'll have to print a new X-carriage and lose 21mm of build volume on the right side with a standard Hevo setup. A fan duct is also included, which matches E3D's Hevo Fan Duct Mount from Vergienc. Here are the parts needed: - 4 x M3 12mm Bolts - M3 Brass Insert - Several M3 Screws - Loctite 243 I'm experimenting with different strengths of the main screw that holds the mount in place. If you've found the right strength, secure the system with some Loctite 243. On top of the X-carriage, you'll find two M3 holes to manage your cables as desired. The issues I encountered require removing the pins from the Orion PCB and endstop and soldering the wires directly to reduce space between the mount and BCP... Update January 20, 2020: Version 1.1: - More space for the endstop and Orion PCB connector is now available without requiring soldering. - A new fan duct design simplifies printing by splitting it into two parts that can be glued together. - The E3D heatblock has been rotated 90 degrees for improved wire management.
