A Hackster's Masterpiece: Boosting My Ender-3 Pro to 32-Bit Bliss with a Bltouch Proximity Sensor. I've successfully integrated the LJ18A3-8-Z/BX, an 18mm diameter powerhouse that can sense objects within 8mm of its surface. To unlock its full potential, this sensor requires a trusty transistor and resistor duo to handle its 12~24VDC power needs. Now, it's proudly mounted on my Ender-3 Pro, which I specifically chose for its upgradeability to 32-bit functionality and seamless integration with the Hermes/Hemera ecosystem.
