E3D Hemera Effector Mount for Delta Printers

An effector and fan shroud mount for the E3D Hemera is essential for delta printers like the Ultibots D300VS or the SeeMeCNC printers that utilize the SeeMeCNC mounting system. To assemble this mount, you'll need to make a minor modification to the Hemera extruder/stepper assembly by rotating its face 90 degrees clockwise. This will allow the rear wires to exit in a way that doesn't interfere with the delta arms. Insert M3 heatserts into the barbell studs and the mast mount on top of the effector, as well as the fan mount hole on both the effector and fan shroud. You'll also need to insert a heatsert into the front face's bottom hole for stiffening purposes. Optional but recommended, you can use screws through the length of the front and rear arms that mount to the Hemera to stiffen them up. This will provide additional support against layer lines. Attach the stepper motor connector, thermistor cable, heater cartridge, and fan wires to their respective locations on the Hemera. Carefully fit the Hemera into the Effector, taking up slack in the wires, and attach it with M3x12 screws on the front and a single M3x8 screw on the back. Insert barbells and seat them against the angled face, making sure they're properly aligned. If necessary, file the spigots to allow proper seating. Attach the blower using an M3x8 screw on the side and an M3x12 screw on the bottom. A long M3 screw or rod can be affixed to the top of the effector as a whip mast. Wrap the wires with cable wrap and zip tie them to the mast with a couple of zip ties. Optional: Print out the Hemera logo pieces and CA glue them into the insets, using regular or thick logos for the main effector and facade, respectively.
