E3d Hemera Bowden Mount for Aluminum Extrusion (45 Degree)

thingiverse

This is a mount for an E3D Hemera Bowden Extruder setup. The mount works with stock screws included in the Hemera and requires two M5 screws and T-nuts / hammer head nuts to attach to your extrusion. I designed it specifically for 3030 Extrusion, which suits my Hypercube Evolution printer, but it should also work on 2020 or 2040 Extrusions without any issues. To print this mount flat on the bed, simply rotate it 135 degrees. No supports are required during printing. Assembly Instructions: 1. Prepare the Hemera by inserting the screw-in Bowden fitting and the collet/clip. 2. Insert two flat square nuts into the Hemera mount, which comes included with the Hemera. 3. Insert four screws into the 3D printed mount so they protrude outwards. 4. Align the mount over the Hemera, referring to pictures for correct orientation. Secure the screws and double-check that they draw up the square nuts. 5. Place two M5 screws into the mount and screw on T-nuts (I use hammer head nuts for easy installation). Tighten both screws; you may need to angle your Allen key slightly but it should fit smoothly. That's it! I printed mine in black PLA, but PETG might be a suitable alternative as the motor can get hot.
