Attached to an x-carriage mount via 4 M3 screws, this component is compatible with Greg's accessible extruder. The lower section dovetails with the E3D fan shroud, directing air away from the heated bed. On March 14th, 2014, the design was updated to improve the fit of the E3D fan shroud/heatsink and fully enclose the chamber, leaving only two mounting holes and access for the 8-32 screws. For optimal results, use this part with the E3D mounting plate on this site.
