E3D Dual V6 Bracket with Individual Adjustable Heights

E3D Dual V6 Bracket with Individual Adjustable Heights

thingiverse

I am constructing a large format 3D printer and designed this dual E3D V6 hotend bracket. Each hotend sits snugly in its own movable bracket with a dovetail pin that mates perfectly with the main bracket. The dovetail joint allows for easy adjustment up and down to true them up, preventing one from tearing the print. Each one has a screw to securely lock it in place. Each dovetail sub-assembly has its own cover. These holes for the screws were sized specifically for hot melt in threaded brass inserts from McMaster.com. The main bracket is 3mm while the sub-assembly covers are 2.5mm. All parts are oriented in the best print position. Use supports to achieve a smooth finish.
