You'll need 3x M3 screws that are 25mm long, along with 3x M3 nuts to properly secure the E3D hot end holder on your vertex K8400 printer. It's crucial to avoid damaging your printer by only using a 20W heater or the original. This requires modifying the z-end, which has been adjusted deeper in this setup. Additionally, make sure the x-end is also properly aligned for optimal results. For further precision, an aluminium sheet can be attached to the bottom of the printer. This calls for M3x55mm screws, longer than the original 50mm length of M3x50mm screws.
