E3D Cyclops Carriage
thingiverse
Uploaded a fan design that seems to be functional at the moment. It's a bit of a tight squeeze, but it appears to work smoothly so far. My only concern with it is that if the fan turns on to max with a large flat print, it may cause heater issues, so I just need to adjust the fan settings accordingly. Just a quick update - don't mind the wires right now. Currently switching to a DuetWifi control board with 24V, which means I won't be able to test much in the process. The fan duct is printed, but it needs some fine-tuning. It blows a lot of air, but it's aimed a bit too high and is positioned too far away from the tip. This design is still a work in progress. This base is meant to hold the E3D Cyclops, and it's currently being tested. It can also be used as a base for the Chimera, though it will require a custom fan. I'm actively working on this project right now and will be creating a fan for it soon. Currently using the Anet A8 Fan Duct Spaceship edition and it's working just fine. You can check out the design here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2088006/#remixes It's not exactly centered because I haven't installed it properly yet, but I'll get there eventually.
