E3D Cooling Brackets Volcano/V6 Compatible with Raise3D Adapter
thingiverse
Download the rev one v6 file if you're using the v6. It will produce much greater airflow. If you have a volcano block, continue to use coolingbracket.stl. Make sure not to use a file with v6 in the name for a volcano block and do not use the regular file with no v6 for the v6 block. The first scenario is cooling your blocks, while the second one involves ramming the shrouds into the bed. Thanks for downloading and happy printing. The cooling bracket is designed to be used with Raise3D machines using E3D hotend adapters, threaded heatsink, and volcano/V6 blocks. This setup employs 4 official e3d fans pushing 6.5 cfm each. The portion attaching the heat sink clips utilizes original screws but requires drilling out the holes slightly. Use 3/4" or shorter wood screws in the top fan; you'll only need enough thread to bite. The pdf attached to this document contains all necessary information for installing the adapter piece.
