A simple yet effective E3D Chimera+ (air-cooled) mount is designed specifically for the Anet A8 and printers with a similar X axis setup. The 5015 blower fan mounts on the side of the printer, while a fan duct encircles both hotends to provide optimal airflow. A BLTouch can also be mounted on the opposite side, adding more functionality to your printer. To adjust the NOZZLE_TO_PROBE_OFFSET setting in Marlin 2, if you mount the BLTouch through the hole without springs, set it to -54 on the X-axis and 0 on both Y and Z-axes. You may need to fine-tune the Z-component for optimal results. It's highly recommended not to use PLA for this project due to its low glass transition temperature. PETG has been successfully used in the past, but ABS, ASA, PC or POM would be better choices if you can print them without warping issues. Using carbon-fibre PETG or Nylon composites may also provide extra stiffness and prevent sagging over time.
