E3D BLTouch Prusa i3 Mount

This is a mount I designed for the Folgertech 2020 Prusa i3 or any other Prusa i3 that uses similar X carrier and BLTouch Auto Level Sensor. The BLTouch sensor replaces servo endstop type auto bed leveler and the proximity sensors, providing an all-in-one auto bed sensor that works flawlessly. I aimed for a slim profile to achieve both style and functionality. The mount features mounting holes for the BLTouch and an access hole for the adjustment grub screw on top of the BLTouch. To facilitate easier assembly, mount the BLTouch to the E3D mount first because the supplied 2mm screw and nut is more accessible in that configuration. Owing to the large profile of the mount, only two M3x25 machine screws are required for secure attachment. The mount's thickness ensures minimal flex, eliminating any risk of vibration or movement. For installation, insert the lock nut into the rear of the X-Carrier by screwing it onto the screw in reverse and then applying pressure to fit it snugly within the X-Carrier. Once in place, remove the screw and attach the mount from the front for secure fastening. M3x25mm machine screws were used for the clamp due to their length, despite being slightly too long. I utilized wire holders that came with Folgertech kits on the right side of the mount to keep all the wires organized neatly, ensuring a tidy and clutter-free setup. To confirm print settings: Printer Brand: RepRap; Printer Model: 2020 Prusa i3; Rafts: No; Supports: No; Resolution: .2; Infill: 25. Notably, I printed at 25% infill, which provided sufficient stiffness, but feel free to experiment with various infill percentages according to your preference, just ensure you don't go below 25%.
