E3D BigBox spool holder upgrade

thingiverse

This is an upgrade for the standard spool holder design to include a guided offset for the spool at the back of the BigBox case. The standard design works well with normal spools, but I had trouble with black spools leaving unsightly black scratches on my polar white case. The design failed me completely when using 2.2kg production spools from Colorfabb because the spool has a much larger diameter, allowing it to come into contact with protruding screw heads. To install the spacers you need M3x30 screws instead of the standard M3x20. Two spacers and six screws are needed for one spool holder. The second part, the spool holder clamp, is not mandatory but recommended due to the increased distance between the stock clamps being a bit short. To build these, you need a M4x40 screw instead of the standard M4x30. One screw is required for each clamp.
