Element 3D V2.2 makes working with all-color models a breeze, thanks to its easy-to-use presets. Every E3D file comes complete with a full materials setup, just like the previews you're used to. Plus, OBJ 2015 files are included for good measure. Ready to get started? Here's what you need to do: Open After Effects CC 2014 or higher and create a new composition. You'll need Element 3D V2.2 installed in order to use it. Next, add a new Solid layer and click the Element effect (found under Effect > Video Copilot > Element). Now click Scene Setup within Element 3D, then choose the IMPORT option. Select my .e3d preset for the model and hit Open. If you don't see the model popping up, make sure to right-click on the model name and select Replace Model. Then, simply browse to the respective models folder and pick up the .obj file.
