e36 HVAC Control/OBC Mount + Bezel

This iteration, based on the original design by Szikra44, was created from scratch using Fusion 360 and includes a wider interface where it joins to the backside of the instrument panel, as well as as a series of holes along the flanges to increase surface area for a stronger adhesive bond. The bezel features are rounded to provide a factory appearance and the retainer features that lock the HVAC controller and OBC (On-Board Computer) have been adjusted to provide a snug fit. Post processing included sanding the visible surfaces smooth and painting with several thin coats of Rust-oleum textured 7220 black spray paint to closely match the factory texture of surrounding components. Note: Installation requires permanent modification to the factory switch/cigarette lighter panel.This print is intended to be used for relocating the HVAC controller from its factory location to make room for double-DIN head unit installations.
