I designed this simple open back nut for a standard E27 lamp holder, specifically for a terminal plate that fits snugly into the housing's rear. It's not a locking nut, which secures the lamp shade in place, but rather an open nut that provides a secure hold for the terminal plate. I required one without the typical "bowl" shape on the back.
