Make sure that the light stand is unplugged before usage, and use a nonconductive filament.I created this to get the microphone closer to my mouth for better audio quality during interviews.I recommend greasing the microphone threads with some oil before usage to prevent excessive wear. Easiest installation is to screw it on the microphone, then screw into the stand.
