Rev. 1 / v9 Looking for a simple filament guide for my Ender-2, I came up with this design. The picture shows v1 in action. Several changes were made to tidy up this design and what I have posted is v9. You should be able to use the existing hardware, but I would suggest upgrading from 8mm to 12mm for better results. Thanks for checking it out. I welcome any comments or suggestions as I'm new to 3D printing and this community. I've also posted the Fusion file and STL. Rev. 2 / v12 Seeing this guide in use, I decided to minimize some material and move the guide hole over 4cm to hopefully prevent filament from rubbing against the Z screw. I also added a smoother area in the guide hole due to its offset from center.
With this file you will be able to print E2_Standoff with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on E2_Standoff.
