E17 LED bulb cover
thingiverse
We have a fan light fixture that takes the smaller-base E17 bulbs such as this one: https://amazon.com/gp/product/B074RGCPK1 We have the bright white daylight bulbs and rather than toss them and get dimmer bulbs, I created this. There are three US #4 screw holes to secure the cover to the base, although depending on the fit hot glue may sometimes work (and sometimes it may slowly melt off). There's also a version without screw holes. Sometimes you'll get a tight enough fit that a little bit of hot glue will actually hold. These covers are eggshell-thin (as intended, for maximum light transmission) and should be printed with some very light-colored filament. Note that if they drop or you are not very gentle handling them anywhere but the base, they will crack. DO NOT use these with incandescent or halogen bulbs.
