E013 deadcat frame
thingiverse
I remade Nico_FPV's frame design for my Eachine E013 model, which comes with convenient connectors that make life easier but might add a bit of weight. To get the most out of it, I had to re-solder and adjust the battery connector so it sticks out from the top, allowing me to connect it in reverse, so be cautious if you decide to follow this modification. This design (PCB and camera) is incredibly resilient - I've already submerged it once, and it's survived countless hits on trees and the ground. One motor connector fell off, but a quick solder job directly onto the PCB got it up and running again. The frame is really fast, but its increased speed comes with greater vulnerability. I highly recommend getting some props as soon as possible - at least, that's what my experience has taught me. I recently acquired new motors with rubber bands to prevent them from falling out constantly. I've secured 8 of these bands, which I plan to use to wrap around the motors. To protect the PCB and motors, I've attached zip ties to the arms, as shown in a picture, but be aware that this modification can cause damage to the front case during crashes, so I need to make some adjustments to reinforce it. Fine-tuning after every battery change is essential! Always carry super glue with you - I've had my fair share of emergencies, like gluing a motor back together when its bottom fell out or fixing the frame several times. It's truly priceless. This design is still a work in progress, and I'm planning to create further versions soon. Original frame: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2804223
