I wanted complete control over video transmission on my Firefly and Vorti. For a while, I used 1.2Ghz, but there were times when I needed the flexibility of 5.8Ghz more. To achieve this freedom, I modified my own custom VTX holder, one that I had designed specifically for E-Wings birds. To utilize this bay, you must first cut a section from your foam quad to match the caddy base. The caddy itself is secured in place by four 12mm M3 screws. However, using these screws on foam can be tricky. You have two options: either use extremely long screws measuring 15-18mm or create a hole and fill it with a small amount of hot glue before screwing it into place. I can confirm that this method is effective. Due to the bay's unique shape, printing it requires careful attention and support is essential to ensure a successful outcome.
