A Compact Enclosure for Mounting E-Ink 1.54" Display (Waveshare) I'm utilizing this compact, self-contained box to showcase the real-time output of my solar panels on my rooftop. Inside is a NodeMCU ESP8266 and a Li-Ion 3.7v battery that's charged by the solar panels themselves. At regular intervals, it wakes up from deep-sleep mode and connects to the local Wi-Fi network, reads JSON data submitted by a Raspberry Pi, and displays it on the e-ink display.
