E-Nable - Thumb prosthesis

For a 16-year-old boy who suffered an accident resulting in partial loss of his thumb, I created this custom thumb prosthetic. I utilized the thumb component from Gyrobot's flexy-hand and designed a new phalanx to enhance functionality. The linkage and bracelet design were adapted from Knick's prosthetic finger. Although the thumb has limited flexibility, it effectively enables the boy to grasp objects such as coffee mugs or gaming console controllers.
