This is a bracket for installing a 2.5-inch drive in an E-mu E6400 sampler, allowing space for an IDE to SATA converter to be attached to the back of the drive. It's likely suitable for other samplers in the E4 series with internal drive bays where the drive attaches via the bottom screw holes instead of those on the side. The pictures show the initial version installed. The V2 model is more streamlined, but otherwise functions exactly the same way.
