This was engineered to enable the installation of one of these OLEDs in E-mu's initial generation romplers (for example, Proteus 1, Proteus 2, Proteus 3, Procussion).\r\n\r\nNote: replacement of the display in this range is challenging because it requires desoldering a 7x2 pin 0.1" DIL header.\r\n\r\nI aimed to provide deeper depth by using longer pins than on the original so I removed the header from the panel PCB instead of attempting to solder the OLED onto the existing header. Removal of that header is a difficult soldering job and comes with risk to the panel PCB. Proceed at your own risk!
