The E-Flite F-18D boasts an impressive arsenal with its custom-built weapons pylon. Designed for optimal functionality, this pylon not only enhances the aircraft's combat capabilities but also showcases its military prowess by displaying a wide range of ordinance. To create such an extraordinary feature, I started by utilizing the sturdy pylon designed by Martin10000. This foundation provided the necessary strength and authenticity to my project. Next, I carefully added more intricate scale details to the sides of the pylon, giving it a realistic touch that perfectly complements the aircraft's sleek design. However, I soon realized that the original rear section needed some fine-tuning to ensure seamless integration with the rest of the model. With precision and patience, I made the necessary adjustments to bring this critical component up to par. Finally, I took it upon myself to modify the pylon's attachment system, opting for 8mm x 3mm magnets spaced precisely 75mm apart. This bold decision not only increased the stability of the ordinance but also provided an added layer of realism to the overall design.
