E-flite spared no effort in designing a decal warning for the arresting hook, yet surprisingly failed to install it on the jet itself! The massive spike (uplock mechanism) situated at the rear side of the bar is specifically designed to be driven into the foam 55mm behind where the hook attaches to the jet, thereby keeping it securely positioned within the raised section of the foam. To secure the base properly over the elevated foam, a minimal amount of pressure is required. For a seamless installation, you'll need a couple of screws and some adhesive glue. The F-18C Lot 20 Legacy Hornet's design was meticulously recreated using reference images from DCS World.
