E-Flite Apprentice S15e Battery Door Latch
thingiverse
This is a battery door latch specifically designed for the E-Flite Apprentice S15e Trainer Electric Radio Control Airplane. The estimated print time is approximately four minutes, so it's a good idea to print an extra copy just in case. Unlike the standard latch that comes with the airplane, this design does not have a lock ridge, which allows it to be printed flat. To ensure proper functionality, make sure the latch screw can get tight enough to keep the door securely closed. This part was successfully printed on a stock magnetic bed using hairspray as an adhesive. The model was created in Sketchup 2016 and took about five minutes to design. The .skp file is included for anyone who wants to modify or print this part themselves.
