E-Fence Gate Clip

UPDATE: Over time, the arms would deteriorate and the clip wouldn't hold onto the gate very securely. The latest model (closing clip) features an integrated print-in-place hinge and a simple latch that closes all the way around the gate. Version 2 is tighter if you find the clip gets loose after some weathering or wear and tear. I created a clip to keep our electric fencing line away from our gates, which helps prevent a voltage drop across the gate when the line rests on it. The gate clip end has an inner diameter of 40mm, snugly fitting any object with a circumference between 13.0mm and 13.4mm. I'm hopeful that this design will be useful for others as well!
