E.F. Johnson Ranger Tank Coil Spacers

The coil spacers on my E.F. Johnson Ranger were extremely brittle and kept cracking apart while I was working on the radio. To overcome this issue, I designed a spacer bracket for both the upper and lower part of the tank coil (see photo). PETG proved to be a more suitable material than PLA as it offered better flexibility and didn't break easily. When installing these spacers, exercise caution because you can bend the tank coils and damage the existing plastic spacers, so do this at your own risk. I printed at 0.07mm resolution. With lower resolutions, you might encounter difficulties printing the small gaps. After installing the spacers, I applied Gorilla crazy glue across the wires where they passed through the spacers to secure them in place.
